His Little Songbird at Work (Angel/Damien)

Angel sat on her bed with her songbook spread open in front of her, her guitar in her hands as she strummed it gently while she began to play as she worked on her new song.


Wake up to a sunny day, not a cloud up in the sky
Then it starts to rain, my defenses hit the ground

Damien smiled from where he stood listening to her.

Damien watched her with a smile.

Angel turned around and gasped when she finished, seeing Damien standing at the doorway.

"Didn't mean to scare you."

"How long have you been standing there?" Angel asked.

"A little bit. I like the song."

"Thank you," Angel smiled.

"Food is downstairs."

Angel nodded, standing up and waddling over to Damien.

He wrapped his arm around her and helped her down the stairs.

"We'll find out the sex of the baby next week," Angel said.

"Okay."

"You excited?" Angel asked.

"Yep."

"We need to start picking names out," Angel said.

Damien led her into the dining room. "We will once we know the sex."

Angel nodded.

Damien sat a plate infront of her.

"Thanks baby," Angel said.

"Welcome."

"You spoil me, you know that?" Angel asked.

"How do I spoil you?"

"You give me anything and everything I want whenever I want it," Angel said.
