This is How the World Died (Angel/Damien)

Today should have been a good day for Angel, Damien was coming home from the hospital after his motorcycle accident, instead she was a sobbing mess, she had to tell the love of her life that his best friend raped her.

Damien slowly got out of the cab.

Angel waited.

He went to the door slowly but stopped when he saw Angel. He smiled slightly. "Hey."

Angel wiped her eyes and faked a smile. "Hey baby," Angel said.

He pulled her as close as he could without it hurting him. "What are you doing out here?"

"Waiting for you," Angel said.

He kissed her cheek. "You didn't have to do that."

"I wanted to," Angel said, brushing a curl behind her ear, an old nervous habit.

Damien noticed it and raised a brow. "What's wrong?"

"N-N-Nothing," Angel stammered.

"Something." He said as he cupped her cheek. "I know your habits too well Angel."

"S-S-Something happened.....last night," Angel muttered.

"What happened?"

"Carson......he.........he did things to me." Angel said.

"What do you mean?"

"He.......raped me," Angel started to cry.

Damien shook his head. "No way."

"Yopu think I'm lying?" Angel asked. "Why would I lie to you about this?"

"I've known Carson since we were in diapers Angel."

Angel sighed and walked into the house.

Damien shook his head.

"So since you think I'm a liar you must think I'm a slut too then?!" Angel cried.

"I never said you were a slut." Damien said looking at her.

"Whatever," Angel muttered, grabbing her guitar and leaving the house.
