Please Don't Leave Me

"I was scared daddy," Destiny whimpered. "I thought you were gonna go bye-bye like Uncle Chrissy."

"Babygirl daddy isn't going anywhere I promise."

Destiny nodded. "I maked you something daddy," Destiny said.

"What did you make me?"

Destiny pulled out a get well card she made Adam.

Adam looked at it and smiled. "Baby girl this is so pretty! Thank you." He kissed her head. "It's already making daddy feel better."

Destiny smiled.

"Adam," Cheyenne said. "We need to talk."

Adam looked up at her and nodded. "Destiny why don't you go make daddy another card?"

"Otay," Destiny said climbing down and going back with Alexis.

Adam looked at Cheyenne. "What's up Chey? You called me Adam. You hardly ever call me that."

"I'm pregnant again Adam," Cheyenne said.

Adam smiled. "That's great! How are you feeling? When did you find out? Are you ok?"

"I'm fine, I'm three months along and I found out yesterday," Cheyenne said.

He smiled and kissed her then put his hand on her stomach. "Another baby."

Cheyenne nodded, still staring at the floor.

Adam looked up at her and lifted her chin. "What's wrong?"

"The doctor said there might be something wrong," Cheyenne said.

"What do you mean?"

"The baby might be......disabled," Cheyenne said.

"And if they are it won't matter." Adam said as he pulled her close. "What are you worried about?"

"You never even wanted kids to begin with Adam!" Cheyenne stressed.

"But we have them now and I wouldn't trade being a dad for anything."

Cheyenne smiled. "You mean that?"

Adam nodded. "Of course I do. You and the kids mean everything to me."

Cheyenne smiled widely.
