Coming Back (Tyler/Randy)

Tyler had completely blown up at his dad, and know regretting it. He didn't mean to argue, but it was quite clear that he had inherited the Orton temper. He sighed and walked back down the hall, towards the locker room. Knowing he'd have to face him eventually, he opened the door and walked in. He didn't say anything, he just sat on a bench and looked down, expecting his father to yell.

Randy didn't bother to look over as he continued putting tape on his wrists.

"Dad, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have just...blown up like I did. Guess I got your temper."
He joked, trying to lighten the mood as he handed his dad his knee pads for his match.

Randy sighed. "I'm sorry too. Just things with Raina are rocky."

"I can tell. If you really want me to, I'll just stop hanging out with her."

Randy sighed. "No don't if you want to be friends with her you can. I need to work out my issues with her."

Tyler smiled.
"Look at you being mature."

"Oh shut up."

"I'm just saying."
He smirked.

Randy laughed.

"So do you know who you're up against?"

"Yep."

"...Can I come to the ring?"

"Um sure. It's going to be Nitro and Rai. You can sit in commentary with Rai."

Tyler smiled almost instantly.
"That worked? All right! I mean...cool, that's fine."

Randy rolled his eyes.

"What? Sorry for never being on TV before."

"You just sounded like Rai when she first started out."

"Is that a good thing?"
He asked serious, even though he was kidding.

Randy nodded. "She wasn't broken and bitter then." Randy said with a sigh.

"Broken and bitter? What exactly happened between you two?"

"Um that is a really long story."

"We have time, don't we?"

Randy sat down. "Rai came to this business when I was just starting out. Her brother Dave Bautista brought her around. She made friends with everyone fast. I had a crush on her."

"Well isn't that cute."
He teased.
