April Assignments (All Reporters Respond Please)

Rachel looked at the menu.

"Derek if I get a cookie will you share it with me?" Rachel asked.

"Hell yeah I would." Derek said, smiling when he sses the really big cookie.

"Cookies sound good."

"We would breaking our friendship code Derek if we didn't share a cookie." Rachel said.

"And that hasn't been broken in how many years?" Derek asked before he ordered everyone's coffee.

Anetha ran her hands through her hair.

"About five maybe six." Rachel said with a smile.

"Well let's not start to break the tradition now." Derek said, handing Rachel the cookie and her coffee before giving Anthea hers.

"Thanks Derek." Anetha said as she took the coffee.

"Thanks buddy." Rachel said before she split the cookie in half and gave the other half to Derek.

"Welcome." Derek said before he took a bite out of the cookie.

"So you guys want to do anything?" Anetha asked before she took a drink of her coffee.

"We do have to go back to work." Rachel said as she ate her cookie.

"Wish we could play hooky." Anetha said as she drank some more coffee.

"I want to go to sleep." Derek said. "So, maybe we should head back to work."

Anetha got up and sighed. "Ok."

"Oh you're sleepy? Darn it I was hoping you could carry me back." Rachel said.

Anetha laughed.

"Why would I want to do that?" Derek asked.

"You love me." Rachel said before she jumped onto Derek's back.

Anetha took Rachel and Derek's coffees.

"Who told you that lie?" Derek asked.

"You did at work." Anetha responded.

"Yeah you told me yourself." Rachel said before she put a messy kiss on Derek's cheek.

Anetha smiled at her two goofy friends.
