April Assignments (All Reporters Respond Please)

"Good." Rachel said before she kissed Derek on his cheek.

"Now find me another Starbucks before I hit you." Rachel said.

"Me too please." Anetha said as she pulled out forty dollars. "And he is not an actual vampire." She handed Derek the money. "You know what to get me and it'll pay for Rachel's too."

Derek rolled his eyes before he took the money and walked out of the room.

Rachel followed Derek.

Anetha leaned back and played with her stress ball.

"You're coming with me?" Derek asked, seeing Rachel.

"Yep. Have to make sure you don't mess up my order." Rachel said.

"And here I thought you wanted to spend some time with me." Derek said.

Anetha sighed then got up to follow them. She stood on one side of him and was texting.

"You know that's the truth silly boy." Rachel said with a chuckle as she linked arms with Derek.

Anetha looked up. "Kellan is asking questions about you." She said as she put her arm through his other one.

Derek smiled at Rachel.

"Knew you couldn't resist me." He teased.

"Uhh. Why?" Derek said.

"Cause you're a guy I spend alot of time with."

"Of course I can't." Rachel said with a chuckle.

She looked at Anetha.

"So?" Rachel asked.

"What?" Anetha asked with a raised eyebrow.

"So what if you spend a lot of time with Derek?" Rachel asked.

"It's a new relationship and he is just curious. I was the same because of all the time he spends with some of his coworkers."

"I knew it!" Derek said, smiling widely at Rachel.

"Don't know why he wants to know so much about me though. We're just friends." Derek said.

"He is just asking the basics. How we met, how long we've known each other, should he kiss up to you."

Derek nodded his head.

"Starbucks!" Rachel yelled as she ran towards it and pulled Derek with her.

Derek chuckled as he followed Rachel.

Anetha followed with a laugh. "So yes to the sucking up?"

"No to the sucking up." Derek said, before he stood in line with Rachel.

Anetha got beside him.
