"What did he say?" Rai and John asked at the same time.

"As far as he's concerned.....I'm dead to him," Kiara started to cry.

John pulled her close while Rai rubbed her back.

"They did the same thing to me they did to Claira," Kiara cried.

"I'm sorry baby girl." John said as he rubbed her back. "Did you tell them we were planning the wedding?"

Kiara nodded. "It doesn't matter to them, Claira was already engaged when she got pregnant," Kiara said.

"I'm sorry baby girl." John said as he pulled her close.


"You still got John and you still have your baby. If your parents can't accept that then it's their loss." Rai said trying to comfort her friend.

"John, you gotta help me get Cassie outta that house, they'll destroy her if I don't," Kiara said.

"I will." John said as he looked at Rai. "Do you still..."

Rai pulled a business card from her bag and handed it to Kiara. "This is the best lawyer there is. Tell him to bill me."

Kiara nodded. "Cassie's only eight years old she does not need them ruining her life," Kiara said.

"If you need a character witness I'll do it for you."

Kiara nodded.

"I think I'm gonna go practice one of my routines, it seems very fitting at the moment," Kiara said.

Rai nodded and John helped her up.

Kiara smiled as the sound people qued up her music.

John kept his eyes on her with a smile.

Kiara smiled.

Rai nodded and went to a corner. She started to stretch and do some moves.


John watched her. "What are you doing?" "Thinking of some stuff."

Kiarasmiled when she saw her vocal coach walk into the room.
